Our aims

• to promote awareness of young carers and their needs
• to have fun, to build self-esteem and confidence
• to create a safe environment for young carers to meet and access services and information that meet their needs
• to reduce secrecy, stigma, embarrassment surrounding young peoples caring role

The Carers Centre contains a Young Carers Den where Young Carers can interact with each other.

Regular activities are arranged for young carers and Newry and Mourne Carers Association will shortly be starting a regular Youth Club for Young Carers.
