Sinead Canniff

Sinead is the Recptionish and Administrator for Newry and Mourne Carers. Sinead has been in the post since July 2007. As the Receptionist and Administrator, Sinead is responsible for dealing with our clients and members of the public, both face to face and over the telephone. Sinead is also responsible for dealing with all external correspondence.
Tom

Tom Bogues

Tom Bogues is the Young Carers Coordinator. Tom has been in post since August 2004. Tom before working here was a special needs teacher for nearly thirty years and is also a qualified social worker.
As coordinator Tom overviews all the work that the Young Carers Project does. This includes doing home visits, participating in awareness raising events, visiting schools and other facilities that children and young people use, organizing social events and training for young carers and liaison with the Southern Trust and Southern Board. He also works closely with Action for Children and Barnardos who support young carers throughout Northern Ireland

Loraine

Lorraine Murphy

Lorraine began her post as a Sports Development Officer for Newry & Mourne Carers Association in 2005. Her aim is to help improve the health and wellbeing of Carers through Sport and Recreation. Carers will be able to enjoy exciting opportunities and challenges. No matter what your age or fitness, joining the Newry & Mourne Carers Active Lifestyle Project can improve your health and help you feel great!

Sinead Houston

Sinead joined the carers centre in June 2009 as a youth worker for the young carers project. Sinead has worked with young children for ten years and has two children herself. Sinead is responsible for organizing activities and working along side the young carers and listening to their needs and ideas.

 

Clive Garrett MCSE

Clive Joined Newry and Mourne Carers in March 2009 as the Centre Manager.Clive is tasked with the creation and running of the Social Economic Business NMC Internet Ltd. The business incorporates Newry and Mourne Carers Internet Cafe, Prometric Testing Centre and the Conference / Training Room. Clive's background is in Information tecnology and he is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

 

 

Janine Connell

Janine joined Newry and Mourne Carers at the start of August 2009. I work in the accounts department I am also a work on the Young Carers project. I work in an accounts office for two years before taking up the post Newry and Mourne Carers.
