Youth Club

The Youth Club is held every Wednesday night from 7-9pm. We would love to see you here so come along for a night full of fun.

Newry & Mourne Council

Members of the Newry & Mourne Council will be attending the centre on 27^th January 2010. We hope to have 4 young carers in attendance. This will gain great publicity for the awareness of both young and adult carers’ projects.

Forum

Young Carers Forum was held in Antrim on the 7^th November and the 4 Young Carers elected attended. Two of the Young Carers will be singing their own song and launch of the new leaflets.

Our Musicians

Two of our Young Carers have written and will be recording this in a studio. We are so proud of them and they have called the song Guardian Angels which in their own way Young Carers are so many thanks girls.

Movie Nights

We have decided that our movie night will be held on Friday 29^th January from 7-9pm. We will be screening Cheaper by the Dozen.

Gardening Group

We were thinking of starting up a gardening group in the centre but would need to know if you would be interested in participating. Please contact Sinead or Janine and let us know.

Babysitting Course

We are delighted to be running a babysitting course in the centre. This course will take place on a Wednesday evening from 7-8pm and participants must be over 13 years old. We have 8 places available and I believe this course will be very enjoyable. You do receive a certificate at the end. The course will be held on the 3^rd, 10^th and 24^th of March. Please let Sinead know if you are interested as numbers are limited.
